Phase One of the Professional Standards Project was completed at the end of 2008 and comprised training in Streams A and B. Phase Two of the project will run from 2009 until the end of 2010. The second phase comprises a re-run of Stream A training during 2009 and will also include a new training module in 2010 – Stream C, that focuses on strengthening teacher capacity, understanding and expertise in the area of languages assessment.
